Whiskey Chicks is a wonderful surprise - from the outside, it doesn't look like you might expect, but walk in and everything changes! Inside, it is a cozy place that has an award-winning cocktails and classic decor providing guests with a one-of-a-kind experience.
Whiskey Chicks makes its home in the Wells Fargo Building, known to be one of the oldest buildings in Bricktown. The building was constructed in 1906 with bricks railroaded in from Chicago after the fire. The building originally served as Wells Fargo’s offices, warehouse and stables for the company’s overland freight services until 1917.
Today, Whiskey Chicks provides guests with a unique cocktail and whiskey bar that feels like a cross between a New York style vintage cocktail bar and an Oklahoma Territory pre-land run saloon. Featuring over 200 whiskeys, 20 local microbrews, over 30 varieties of bitters in addition to a full liquor and wine bar.
Whiskey Chicks is the inspiration of Kevin McCracken, an Oklahoma native from Sulphur. Kevin brought 30 years of experience, and his award-winning drink creations, from his career in Arizona and California. One of his most popular specialty drinks is the Black-out, bfeaturing Woodford Reserve, black walnut bitters, fresh lemon juice and finished with mesquite smoke.
Fall and winter in Oklahoma is the perfect time to enjoy his expansive selections of scotch. A popular choice of locals is the High Roller flight which includes McCallan 18, Balvenie 21, Johnny Walker Blue, and Oban 18.
Voted the best post-game/concert spot by the Oklahoma Gazette, the bar features 7 high definition TV’s for sports and live music or DJ’s on every weekend. The kitchen pumps out outstanding wings and features a delicious Whiskey Chick burger and a unique twist on a Chicken Fried Chicken sandwich.
