key oklahoma cityAfter months of renovations, local restaurateurs Rick and David Haynes, opened their newest addition to the family – West in Bricktown - at the iconic corner of Mickey Mantle and Sheridan. The longtime Oklahoma City restaurant family also operates Urban Johnnie in Deep Deuce, located at LEVEL Urban Apartments at Second Street and Walnut Avenue, along with their original local hamburger specialty chain Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler.

WEST in Bricktown is a vibrant, innovative American bistro and bar - dedicated to the highest quality of food, atmosphere and service. West in Bricktown offer lunch and dinner daily - plus brunch on Saturdays and Sunday. Weekends feature live music and a second floor patio that is a hot spot for the late night crowd as well.

The menu at West in Bricktown mirrors original location in Nichols Hills and is presented by executive chef Darshon Haines. Known for palette pleasing cuisine, West offers diners soups and salads, pastas, Prime beef and fish alongside their signature entrees.

Popular signature entrées include the Gourmet Burger – truffled beef tenderloin with truffled mayo and a sunny side up fried egg. For those needing comfort food – West Individual Meatloaf is a pleasing combination of pork, veal and beef served with mac and cheese, green beans and brown gravy.

Popular vegetarian offerings include their stuffed Portobello Mushroom - oven roasted with grape tomato confit, sautéed spinach and quinoa stuffing over a red bell pepper couils, garnished with feta and toasted pine nuts; served with grilled zucchini.

Oklahoma has a reputation for Chicken Fried Steak. West puts their twist on an Oklahoma favorite, taking it to a new level using tenderloin of beef, breaded and fried, served with the required sides of mashed potatoes, green beans and white gravy.
