Spend your holiday exploring downtown Oklahoma City during the annual Downtown in December winter celebration. This month-long adventure attracts nearly half a million revelers to the City’s 10-block polar playground.

Glide into the holidays with the Braum’s Ice Rink located on the grand lawn at the Civic Center Music Hall, located at 201 N Walker. Rink hours are noon to 10 p.m. daily through January 1, including holidays. Cost to skate is $8, which includes skate rental and a
two-hour session.

There’s no business like “snow business” at Downtown in December’s newest attraction - the nation’s largest manmade snow tubing slope at the Bricktown Ballpark. Snow Tubing at the Brick is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, through December 17 and seven-days-a-week, December 20 - January 1. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the last session beginning at 8 p.m. Sessions begin on the hour every two hours. Admission is $10 for each one and a half-hour session.

Thousands of glimmering twinkles of light mingle together to create a dramatic, holiday paradise in downtown Oklahoma City’s Myriad Botanical Gardens during OG&E Garden Lights. The Crystal Bridge will open free from 6 – 9 p.m. December 3, 10 & 17 for special twilight viewings. Regular Crystal Bridge hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday though Saturday and noon – 6 p.m. Sunday.

Historic Bricktown offers yuletide excitement with more than 40 restaurants and clubs and a host of holiday-clad destinations including the mile-long Bricktown Canal – all within walking
distance. Visitor's can drift past thousands of twinkling holiday lights along the canal on a free adventure cruise on a Bricktown Water Taxi during Devon Holidays on the Canal. All ages will enjoy a fun-filled float down the beautifully adorned Bricktown canal. Ride free from 6-9:30 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday, December 1- 31 (closed Christmas Eve).

Downtown’s Oklahoma River will sparkle for the second annual Devon Energy Oklahoma River Holiday Parade. On Saturday, December 16, a parade of more than 40 boats decorated in twinkling holiday lights, and a spectacular shower of fireworks orchestrated to holiday musical favorites, will make a grand family holiday celebration. Activities begin 4 p.m. at Wiley Post Park.

Ring in 2007 with family fun during the Arts Council of Oklahoma City’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration- Opening Night! Downtown and Bricktown will be full of music, fun, friends and good cheer as 13 venues host dozens of performers and activities from 7 p.m. to midnight.
