Direct from Broadway comes the first national tour of Ring of Fire – The Music of Johnny Cash. The music of the Man in Black ignites the stage in its Oklahoma City premiere for eight performances, October 16-21st at the Civic Center Music Hall, featuring more than 30 signature songs from the legendary Johnny Cash.
Nearly three years after his passing, Johnny Cash remains one of the most popular entertainers of all time. His success is incomparable – 11 Grammy Awards (including 1999 Lifetime Achievement Grammy), inductions into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock Music Hall of Fame, and a Kennedy Center Honor. The Oklahoma City engagement of Ring of Fire is presented by Celebrity Attractions, and kicks off our 2007-2008 Broadway Season which also includes The Ten Tenors, Annie, Gypsy, Monty Python’s Spamalot and the two add-on productions The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Disney’s High School Musical.
