PROFILE: Hany has worked as a concierge at the Waterford Marriott for the past seven years. Originally from Egypt, he immigrated to the United States in 1993. Hany met his wife, Betsy, at a Christian Church Camp in Egypt in 1989. He and Betsy have two children, Alex and Mia. WHAT TO DO: Hany suggests that you try a variety of restaurants during your visit to OKC. If you feel like a steak, he recommends The Ranch Steakhouse near Britton & May Avenue. He is impressed by the high-level of service you receive at The Ranch Steakhouse. If you prefer Italian, Hany recommends Bellini’s Ristorante at 63rd & Pennsylvania. He likes sitting outside on Bellini’s patio and watching the ducks. If you’re craving barbeque, Hany suggests Earl’s Rib Palace. Interested in trying something new for breakfast? Hany recommends the omelet bar at the Waterford Marriott. He also suggests Beverly’s Pancake Corner on NW Expressway & Pennsylvania. OKC is full of opportunities for families. One of Hany’s favorite attractions is the OKC Zoo. His suggests riding the train around the Zoo. Hany notes that children enjoy seeing all the animals, especially the giraffes, elephants, and monkeys. If your family wants to see a movie, Hany recommends the films shown at the OmniDome. The movies change regularly. This past year, he really enjoyed the movie on the Nile River. A concierge
(pronounced kon-'syerzh) is the closest thing you can find to your
own personal assistant in a fine hotel. The concierge in your hotel
is there to make your stay in Oklahoma City more enjoyable and hassle-free.
A Concierge can do more than call a cab. Through their contacts, locally,
