In all-new ExploraZone exhibit is lighting up Omniplex Science Museum by offering exciting hands-on stations for visitors of all ages.

The new installation of this series of traveling exhibits will be featured on the main science floor at Omniplex and will allow hands-on exploration of force and structure, light,
reflection and rotation. Each new exhibit is scheduled to remain at the museum for one year. Omniplex will get another new ExploraZone exhibit in June 2006.

“This will be the second ExploraZone exhibit at Omniplex and we look forward to each new installment coming over the next several years,” said Senior Director Don Otto. “This program was designed among museums
nationwide to create a partnership organized around the exchange of inquiry-based science exhibits and teacher education.”

In ExploraZone visitors can build with angled blocks, twirl around and mix their reflection with someone else’s. With activities such as Round Arch Bridge, Momentum Machine and Anti-Gravity Mirror, all families can enjoy learning at Omniplex.

Visitors can dig right into ExploraZone exhibits, all of which promote playful and thoughtful experimentation. Whether it’s ducking into a kaleidoscope or looking into infinity, there are plenty of things to try. Open-ended by design, these exhibits allow exploration and learning in a unique and exciting way.
