KEY Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma State Fair opens Thursday, September 15 and runs through Sunday, September 25. This year's Oklahoma State Fair returns as an 11-day format, themed - A Perfect 11. Fair guests can expect to enjoy the same level of entertainment and family fun that has become the tradition at the State Fair, as well as many new and different events and attractions.

Coming off a spectacular run at last years fair, the popular Disney On Ice returns with a captivating and elaborate new live production of Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo September 15-19. This animated world “down under” comes to life in a brilliant rainbow of color, set to an energetic musical score. Gliding smoothly across the ice, skaters costumed in many forms of ocean life, perfectly emulate the natural flow of fish through water.

Returning again this year, the upgraded and expanded Oklahoma State Fair PRCA Championship Rodeo will feature live concerts immediately following three of the rodeo go ‘rounds. The Rodeo will run from September 23 through 25 with four performances.

You can't talk about southern rock and country music without mentioning The Charlie Daniels Band, who will be performing immediately following the Opening Night rodeo, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. Next up, after the 7:30 p.m. go ‘round on Saturday, will be Terri Clark. Rounding out this year's rodeo will be the legendary country trio of Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, performing after the “Championship Finals” of the Rodeo on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

The Extreme Monster Truck Nationals invades the State Fair Grandstand for two action-packed, ground-pounding events on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24. In addition, see the most exciting motorcycle stunts of all time, performed by Freestyle Moto-X Champions.

Another exciting event to invade the Grandstand will be the Championship Professional & Semi-Pro Motorcycle Racing Vintage Dirt Track Racing Association Grand Nationals on Friday, September 16. Also in the Grandstand, on Saturday, September 17, will be Championship Professional Motorcycle Racing plus Pro Quads AMA Semi-Pro.
