Red hot concerts continue to rock the house at the FireLake Grand Events Center. Legendary rocker, Bret Michaels will take the stage on Saturday, August 28th!

Michaels, who gained fame as the lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Poison, has been in the music business for over 20 years. His multi platinum career holds fifteen Top 40 singles, and his music has been in several movies. With over 25 million records sold, Michaels continues to be at the forefront of the entertainment industry, and his concerts still top the charts in grossing revenue.

“FireLake Grand is glad to welcome this legendary rock star to our stage,” said Brad Peltier, Director of Marketing for FireLake Grand Casino. “Bret Michaels’ music, with Poison as well as from his solo career, continues to thrill the hearts of rock music fans.”

Most fans know that Bret Michaels has faced numerous health issues, but he is a fighter. He continues to fight a battle with diabetes, survived a near fatal car crash, and just recently overcame a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage. While these events have slowed him down at times, he has never given up. In recovering from the most recent event, he doubled his rehab so he could return quickly to the stage and his music.

His talent does not end with his music career, however. Michaels formed a partnership with Charlie Sheen that resulted in a film production company. Eventually, Michaels wrote, directed, and starred in several films that he co-produced with Charlie Sheen. Michaels’ acting skills have landed him appearances on several tv shows. A star of reality tv, Michaels starred in Vh 1’s highest rated show, Rock of Love. Currently, he is appearing on Celebrity Apprentice contest competing for The American Diabetes Association.

Presented with pride by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, FireLake Grand Casino features more than 1,800 Vegas-style games in the beautiful 125,000 square foot facility, from the hottest slot machines to some 100 table games. As all games are designated “Class 3, Oklahoma Compact,” six percent of FireLake Grand’s net gaming revenue goes to support the state’s public education. Dining options range from sizzling steaks at Embers Steakhouse to the exciting Grandstand Sports Grille and The Grand Buffet, or for a drink in a relaxing atmosphere meet friends at the all new outdoor Fireside Lounge. The Casino is conveniently located just east of Oklahoma City on Interstate 40 at Exit 178.
