KEY Oklahoma City

Lindsey Johnson
Front Desk Agent
Hampton Inn, Midwest City

PROFILE: Lindsey has been with the Hampton Inn for just over a year and a half. Lindsey, a student at Rose State College, took a six-month sabbatical for an internship related to her major in Psychology. It was during her internship, she realized she wanted to spend the rest of her college career in the hospitality industry. Managers and fellow employees make up a second family and she believes that fellowship overflows to their guests, making the hotel run very smoothly.

FAVORITE RESTAURANT: "One of my personal favorites is Bahama Breeze located on beautiful Lake Hefner. Bustling with a feisty, loud atmosphere and excellent cuisine, you will enjoy your entire experience. Featuring a live band on weekends, it is also a great place to take a date.

If you are in the mood for authentic Mexican, Abuelo’s in Bricktown is hard to beat. However, no trip to the Sooner State is complete without a visit to Cattlemen’s. Located on Agnew, just south of I-40, it upholds a longtime legend as Oklahoma’s best steakhouse."

FAVORITE ATTRACTION: "One of the most breath-taking sites in Oklahoma is the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. It is a very humbling place to visit, especially for a native of the state. The memorial is open 24 hours a day and free of charge. The Museum adjacent to the outdoor memorial, is open daily from 9am to 6pm and is something you do not want to miss. It creates a very real understanding of what happened on April 19, 1995 and the strength and love that makes us proud to be Oklahomans."

MOST ROMANTIC SPOT: "If you are looking for a great date with your significant other, whether it’s your first date or your 50th anniversary, Bricktown is the place for you. The beautiful downtown skyline accents Bricktown at night. Once there, you can enjoy fine dining while overlooking the canal. To end the evening, I suggest a romantic ride down the brick street on a horse drawn carriage."
