Profile: Lori Lujan, has served as the Rooms Division Manager at the Best Western Saddleback Inn and Conference Center for the past 7 years. Prior to that she held the position of Executive Housekeeper for 4 years. Lori started her career in the hotel business 27 years ago as a young teenager working in the housekeeping department.
Lori's time outside of work is split between church and following her 11 year old son Ryan to his many sporting events. Ryan is a stand-out athlete in Football, Baseball, Basketball and Wrestling. Supporting her son has made Lori a pretty big fan of all four sports. Lori loves the Sooners and the Oklahoma Redhawks but her favorite team is any team Ryan is playing for. An Oklahoma native, Lori not only has a Hispanic heritage but is also a descendant of both the Caddo and Delaware Native American tribes.
When guests ask Lori where is a great place to eat she is quick to tell them about Cattlemen's Steakhouse and how it is an Oklahoma City landmark. She recommends any of their steaks along with the lamb fries and their house dressing. For first time travelers to OKC Lori always recommends they not leave without experiencing Bricktown with the Bricktown Ballpark, the many clubs and restaurants and her personal favorite, Mickey Mantles.
For the many families that travel to OKC Lori recommends they check out Whitewater Bay Water Park, Frontier City or Celebration Station. The Oklahoma City Memorial is another destination that she suggests for those who have time for a special, meaningful and thought provoking experience.
