PPROFILE: Paul has been with the Courtyard for 10 years. He began his career as a 'house aid’ and was quickly promoted to night audit and front desk duties. Promoted again, he has served as the event coordinator for the last three years. He has enjoyed his career with Marriott and feels it is a great company to work. Paul is a lifelong 'Okie’ – from Moore. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar with his church and collects rocks and artifacts, including arrowheads, with his son. FAVORITE RESTAURANT "I have so many favorites it is hard to suggest just one. For a great steak, Mickey Mantle's is the choice. After you get through checking out the memorabilia of Oklahoma Legend Mickey Mantle, sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, and my personal favorite, Roquefort Steak. Mickey Mantle's is located on the Bricktown Canal just across from the ballpark. For a unique change of pace, I suggest Bourbon Street Café, also on the canal in Bricktown. Bourbon Street offers the flavor of New Orleans, and if Oklahoma weather will cooperate during January, they have the best patio for dining along the canal." FAVORITE ATTRACTION: "I always recommend that our guests experience the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. If you time it right, you can experience the museum in the afternoon and the outdoor memorial at dusk. It is hard to describe the emotions one feels when viewing the lighted glass chairs, placed in memory of those who lost their lives in the Murrah Building bombing, and the silent reflection of the Gates of Time in the reflecting pool." WHAT TO SEE & DO: "From our hotel, I suggest guests hop on the Orange Line Trolley for a ride to Stockyards for sightseeing and shopping. It is truly a step back to the old west. Hop back on the Orange Line for a quick trip to Bricktown. Enjoy the renovated warehouse district, great restaurants, unique shopping and the new Bass Pro Shop. If the Blazers are in town, I suggest they experience a hockey game at the new Ford Center Arena – and then hop back on the trolley to the hotel." A concierge
